It started with Yareen’s grandmother
Her falls and the family’s fear of what might happen next sparked a wish to protect her independence and her freedom to live on her own terms. We recognized that this struggle was not limited to one older adult or one family, but was a global challenge shared by older adults and those who love them. That concern gave rise to Supporta and our ambition to help older adults keep moving with confidence and dignity while giving families greater peace of mind.

Second place · Golden Age Hackathon
Before Supporta, our founders developed a wearable EMS device at Braude College’s Golden Age Hackathon in March 2023. The experience shaped our belief that useful technology should feel simple in everyday life.
